Jay's paternal grandmother passed away today. Grandma Ibsen was 85, as best I can figure. She was a woman full of life and gossip and fun. She hitched hiked to Seattle at the age of 16 to follow the man she loved. He turned out to be no good, but that didn't stop Grandma. She kicked him to the curb and found a better one. She loved and cared for more grandchildren and adopted strays like me, then I can count. She made wine, loved a good joke and might even flash her tits at ya. She was that kind of 'Lady'.
Not a sad day at all. Grandma was ready to go a long time ago. I think of her today being completely over the moon at all the people she's getting to see again after so very long. She leaves us all with a treasure of good memories of fun times.
Gods speed Grandma. Save me a spot next to you.

What a lovely tribute - celebrating the woman, not feeling sad about the loss. xoxo to you all.

Be well, Brad.
Grandma sounds like a real character who was much loved!
I think of my friends that have passed and hope they're so happy that they just can't stand it. Cheers to Grandma. I hope she's skipping around, throwing daisies in the air.
